We love working with

Lechlade Music Festival

This popular festival has run for many years on the banks of the Thames, and is run by a small number of volunteers.

Old to new

Rebuild, redesign, reimagine

Funky but functional

See for yourself

lechladefestival.co.uk

Our task was to recreate the site to bring it up to date, and bring together much of the design and thinking that inevitably creeps in over many years.

It was important to us to bring the personality of the group through to the design. Lechlade is about the people and about fun, as well the line up. A lovely, interesting, eclectic and fun site – just like the festival itself.

This site is one of a huge number of re-imaginings where we take an old website that has evolved over many many years and needs an upgrade, a restructure and most of all a redesign.

Here you can see the old site, which although great in terms of content was tired and confused.

Under the Hood

This is our standard marketing based site stack of Wordpress, Divi and our usual hosting. Previously the site was created in Joomla, so we started from scratch and pulled in the elements we needed.

We are proud of… Our design

Like the festival a real labor of love. A good example of a grunge look with a family feel.

The homepage serves as the main entry point, featuring a prominent header with the festival logo and a visually appealing background image that captures the essence of the event. The navigation menu is typically placed at the top, allowing users to easily access different sections of the website, such as lineup, tickets, location, and contact.

The website incorporates a responsive design, ensuring it adapts well to different screen sizes and devices. This allows users to have a consistent browsing experience whether they are using a desktop computer, tablet, or mobile phone.

The lineup section provides details about the musical acts scheduled to perform at the festival. It may include artist names, their photos, biographies, and links to their social media profiles or official websites.

In terms of visual elements, the website employs high-quality images, vibrant colors, and visually appealing typography to create an immersive and engaging experience. Attention is given to usability and readability, ensuring that the content is presented clearly and legibly.

Overall, the design of https://lechladefestival.co.uk aims to showcase the festival’s atmosphere, lineup, and essential information in an attractive and user-friendly manner, encouraging visitors to explore further and make informed decisions about attending the event.
