A School view of mental health

MHH or Mental Health Hub was a way to have a holistic view of the pupils in the school, their mental health needs and progress.

With experts from the from the mental health field, the Hub consists of two main areas. Firstly all pupils have a teacher led assessment, once per term. This flags up any issues and any interventions that should be needed to the teachers and to the senior leadership team. Secondly it is a way to track interventions and the status of any queues that the pupil might be in – for example awaiting a referral to the NHS. The whole application is about accurate measuring over time and about highlighting any issues before they become overwhelming.

Under the Hood

This is a bespoke application built with a Yii PHP backend and a react.js from end. One of the slickest projects we have everput together in terms of efficiency, speed and process.

Why we think

This project is sexy

This is a project that we very much were behind and felt a part of. What was sexy was the end result which looked remarkably simple but hid huge complexities behind a simple UX. Also the process was a good one as we planned massively and nailed all of the UX before issuing the call to “Build this”. Thus the process of build was remarkably quick and painless.
