A Keyword Dashboard

DS-Keywords is a way to get usable information from mountains of image, text, audio and video files. We do this by converting those files into usable text and using AI to interrogate this data as it goes.

The currency of this system is keywords, so the user has to created keywords to find and/or choose from pre-set keyword groups we call crime types. For example the crime might be theft of a push cycle, so there are lots of keywords around cycles, running, theft etc. But there are also more specific words to do with that case. The people, the places, the objects.

Under the Hood

This is a bespoke application built with a combination of our technologies. Plus an ever adapting and changing series of AI models and services to do the heavy lifting of converting multiple formats.

Why we think

This project is sexy

Where things really get exciting is when the system is plugged into other intelligence systems. Systems like BlueFusion or i2Connect are used to show a police case and all the data around the suspects as a timeline or as a modal diagram. This makes it easier to see who is connected to who in terms of timings and social groupings. Adding audio, video and files to the mix greatly extends the reach of these systems. For example covert audio recordings, 999 / 911 calls and social media video can connect the dots that much more quickly.

AI Driven Audio Meta data

Born of experience

Our GDPR work around audio as part of the GDPR Dashboard led directly to DS-Keywords – a method to get meta data from audio recordings of all types, plus keyword data from images, pdf and text files. This is already being used by police forces around the world as well as by social media managers to check their influencers are saying the right things publicly.
